This policy explains what FrightCrawl, a program of 1000183181 Ontario Inc ("FrightCrawl", "we", "us"), collects when you use frightcrawl.com, buy tickets to our events, join our referral program, or opt in to our SMS Program, and what we do with it.
1. What we collect
- Contact details: name, email address, mobile number and city, when you provide them.
- Ticket and order details: events you buy tickets to and related order information, received from our ticketing partner (Eventbrite).
- Referral program data: your invite code and link activity, tickets attributed to your link, reward status, and a PayPal email if you add one for payouts.
- SMS opt-in records: your number, the time you opted in, and where the opt-in came from.
- Usage data: basic device and page analytics that help us keep the site working well.
2. How we use it
- Running our events: venue updates, schedules, check-in and wristband logistics
- Sending service emails and, with your consent, SMS updates
- Operating the referral program: tracking rewards and sending payouts
- Customer support and answering your messages
- Improving our site and events, and preventing fraud and abuse
- Meeting legal requirements
Mobile information and SMS consent. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except with vendors and service providers acting on our behalf solely to deliver the messages. Reply STOP to any message to opt out at any time.
3. What we share
We never sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that run parts of our operation for us: ticketing (Eventbrite), email delivery, SMS delivery, and payout processing (PayPal). They receive only what they need to do the job.
- Authorities, when the law requires it.
4. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies and lightweight analytics to keep the site working and understand what pages are useful. We do not run third-party advertising trackers on frightcrawl.com.
5. How long we keep it
We keep personal information for as long as we need it to run our events and the referral program, and as long as the law requires for things like payout records. When it is no longer needed, we delete it.
6. Your choices
- Reply STOP to any text to leave the SMS Program
- Use the unsubscribe option in our emails, or reply with the word unsubscribe
- Email us to ask what we hold about you, or to have it corrected or deleted
7. Age
Our events are for adults of legal drinking age in their city (18+, 19+ or 21+ depending on where you are). Our site and SMS Program are not directed at minors, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
8. Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version always lives at this page, with the effective date above.
