FrightCrawl is the Halloween bar crawl: one wristband gets you a route of the best bars and clubs in your city with no cover at any participating stop, drink specials, live DJs, and a live map that runs the night. It happens in 210 cities over Halloween Weekend 2026, October 29 to 31. Over 10,000 crawlers came out last Halloween.

It is self-guided, and every stop is within walking distance of the last one.

• Start: show up at the first venue during the pickup window, scan your ticket, and trade it for your wristband.
• Middle stops: each runs an open window. Hit them in any order, stay as long as you like.
• Finale: everyone lands at the final venue for the last-call party. That is where the night peaks.

There is no host walking you around: your city's live crawl map shows every venue, window and direction, and updates if anything changes. You can also opt in to crawl texts that nudge you when it is time to move.

Entry at every stop on your night's route with no cover charges, your FrightCrawl wristband, the live crawl map, live DJs and drink specials where stops run them, and the final-venue party. VIP tiers add the extras listed on your city's ticket page, like the VIP crawl challenge and first dibs on future pre-sales.

Halloween Weekend 2026: night crawls on Thursday October 29, Friday October 30, and Halloween itself, Saturday October 31, typically 7:30 PM to 2 AM. Select cities also run a Saturday Day Crawl in the afternoon. Your city's Eventbrite listing has the exact times.

Only through the official Eventbrite listings linked from your city's page on frightcrawl.com. Tickets sold anywhere else, in DMs, on resale sites, from strangers in line, are not ours and we cannot honour them.

Tickets are tiered: every night starts at its cheapest price and climbs as tiers sell out. There are no late-night discounts and no price drops. The cheapest ticket you will ever get is today's.

Every crawl of the weekend in your city on one wristband, cheaper than buying the nights separately. Passes are strictly limited, and pass holders pick up their wristband at each crawl's first venue like everyone else.

Group rates appear on city listings as Halloween gets closer, where offered. If you are organizing a crew, read the groups page: the referral program can cover your own ticket.

All sales are final: no refunds, exchanges or transfers. Three things to know:

• If a crawl is ever canceled and not rescheduled, every ticket is refunded automatically. No vouchers, no credits.
• Some listings offer a Flexible Ticket add-on at checkout that lets you cancel for any reason until the cutoff shown on the listing.
• Showing up after the wristband window, or being refused entry by a venue for intoxication, dress code or conduct, is not refundable.

If you added the Flexible Ticket at checkout, cancel any time before its cutoff and your ticket price comes back. Otherwise sales are final, per the policy above. If something genuinely out of your control comes up, email contact@frightcrawl.com and we will help where we can.

At the first venue on your city's route, during the pickup window. For night crawls that window typically runs 7:30 PM to 10:30 PM; day crawls run earlier, check your listing. Scan your ticket QR with crawl staff at the front reception or host stand, put the wristband on, and keep it on: it is your entry to every other stop. No wristband, no crawl.

Yes. Any friend heading to check-in can present your ticket QR and collect your wristband for you. That is the official move if you are running late, because wristbands are not handed out after the window closes, and missing it is not refundable.

Your city's live crawl map lists every venue with its window, address and one-tap directions. Check it the morning of the crawl for any last-minute changes, and again during the night: it updates the moment anything moves. Confirmed bars also show on your city's page as they lock in.

No. Every venue keeps its own security checks and door rules, and busy stops can hit capacity, which can mean a short wait. If one stop is slammed, the map always gives you somewhere else to be.

Rare, but nightlife is nightlife. Contact the venue representative listed on your crawl map; if you cannot reach them, skip that stop and carry on to the next one on the route.

Costumes are the whole point, and strongly encouraged at every stop. Two door rules: no props that look like weapons, and nothing highly offensive. Venues can refuse entry for either, without a refund. Expect to lift a mask for ID checks. If you want ideas, we wrote a whole costume guide.

Legal drinking age with valid government photo ID, everywhere: 21+ in the US, 18+ or 19+ in Canada depending on the province, 18+ in most of Europe and elsewhere. Your city's listing states its age minimum, and every venue checks ID at the door.

The crawl runs rain or shine. The bars are indoors; bring a layer for the walks between them, it is late October.

Do not drink and drive, full stop. Plan your ride: transit, taxi, Uber or Lyft, or a designated driver. The final venue is the natural place to order one from.
